Der Adolf Bockemühl Pokal wurde 1974 von Hans Bockemühl, anlässlich des 50.-jährigen Bestehens des Oberbergischen Schützenbundes, sowie in Erinnerung an den 1. Präsidenten des Oberbergischen Schützenbundes - Adolf Bockemühl- gestiftet.
